Palm-Coated vs. Fully Coated Work Gloves

A practical sourcing framework for coverage, dexterity, protection area and cost.

Why this topic matters

Coverage is one of the simplest ways to narrow a coated glove. Palm-coated styles leave more of the back open, while fully coated styles extend the coating around more of the glove. That changes the balance between coverage, flexibility and the environment the glove is intended for.

What to include in the RFQ

For a wholesale RFQ, describe whether you need palm, 3/4, extended or full coverage, then confirm the material and actual coated area with a sample or drawing.

  • Product family and reference photo
  • Coating material and finish
  • Coverage / dip level
  • Size range and target quantity
  • Logo and packing requirement
  • Required test standard, if applicable

Confirm before placing the order

Confirm the current sample, liner, gauge, size-specific weight, packing, MOQ, lead time and any market-required test documentation before final approval.

Choose the glove, quantity and target market. Build the RFQ around your specification.
